Day 19 KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK (30.8.09)

Decided to go and have a look at Weano Gorge today which is approx 40kms away from where we are camped at Dales Gorge. With a cut lunch and camera in the backpack we climbed down the steps which were nowhere near as strenuous a trek as Dales Gorge on Friday. We easily made our way in and out of Weano Gorge and was a little disappointed that it was not as nice as Dales Gorge. Called in for a coffee at the ECO Lodge which is located close by and was shocked to find out that the Caravan sites are $25 per night and the tents $270 per night to stay !!! We think our sites are much nicer here at Dales Gorge and they only cost $9 a night – TOO GOOD J
