Lovely and warm and not a cloud in the sky. Heading 50km into Newman. Maree & Paul are hoping to go for a swim in the pool and the rest of us are on a Free day to shop and sightsee before meeting up again at our next camp. Decided to head straight into Karijini National Park. Newman was very restricted as far as sightseeing goes. Tour out of the TI in a bus to the largest open cut cost $100 – what a rip off!!!. Also the pool hours were 3.00pm to 5.30pm so Paul & Maree didn’t get their swim... Made camp at Karijini and will be here for 4 nights. Tomorrow discovering the pools and gorges close by. Lyn & Kevin & Brian & Pam are off to Tom Price tomorrow for the day.
