Left at 9.00am – Windy but warm. Meekatharra was not very interesting at all and we are now heading for a free camp approx 50km South of Newman. Stopped for morning tea beside the Gascoyne River South Branch. Looked a bit more like a cowbog than a river but Teri found beauty in it and took a few photos which actually looked quite pretty!!!. Starting to get quite hot at last.....filling up at Kumarina Roadhouse then onto find a free camp for the night. Eventually found a spot off the road that leads to the Prairie Downs Station which was 50km south of Newman. Drove 500m up the dirt road away from the road noise and had a lovely spot. Another magnificent sunset and reasonably quiet.
