On the road at 8.00am on our way to Leinster, Sandstone & Mt.Magnet. 51km up to Leinster, small modern mining town with a large Olympic Pool. Couldn't see myself living out there!!! 149km from Leinster across to Sandstone. Lots & Lots of wildflowers and plenty of magnificent Wedge Tail Eagles. I absolutely adore them, they are huge and graceful. Country is very red, very flat and not many trees, similar to the Nullabor, I think. Had a good look around Sandstone. Small town with a Heritage Trail (17.8km) that we did. Checked out London Bridge, the Brewery and The Battery. Quick beer at the Pub and then onto our next camp spot. 70km south of Mt.Magnet. Tomorrow heading towards Mt.Magnet and then to Meekatharra to the Caravan Park for some catching up on the "chores".
