Day 50 - Hamelyn Pool to Mullewa (30.9.09)

Travelling down to Mullewa and Pindar to see the wildflowers. Maree & Paul are going straight into Geraldton and we will meet up with them again on Friday. Heaps of rain last night and not a bad Caraven Park with a 1.5km walk around the old shell quarry and boardwalk out to the stromalotites. Had morning tea at the 412 on the Murchison River. Lovely spot and would be an ideal free o/n. The river actually had water in it - very different....Staying overnight in the Mullewa Caravan Park, what a surprise, lovely little park with green grass instead of dirt outside the door. Barry has even washed the van, for a change!!!!!. Tomorrow going to do the wildflowers near Pindar. Today had a look at the church that relates to Monsignor John Dawes.
