Day 47 - Carnarvon (27.9.09)

Today is Katelyn's Birthday - Happy Birthday Sweetheart......... "Sweet 15"

Went for a drive out to the Blowholes today and further to Quobba Station. (So glad we made the round trip of 200kms.) The blowholes are awesome. Got some great photos and had lunch near a really rugged outcrop and collected more shells. There was a plaque stating that 3 people had been killed where we were so the coastline is not to be taken lightly.......We also stopped to have a look at the cairn for the HMAS Sydney II. Also managed to get some pictures of the Pier at Carnarvon and the Coffee Pot Train. Yesterday for Grand Final Day we had fantastic weather and watched the grand final with Chilli Mussels, Garlic Prawns and a beautiful home made Bruschetta. Very spoilt.......Weather today was 32deg and tommorrow we are heading down to Denham for 2 nights.
