Day 8 Jillah Rockhole to Newman Rocks (19.8.09)

Saw our first 2 eagles on the side of the road 70kms east of Cocklebiddy. Pleasant weather for the 470km drive today to our next camp spot. Hoping to find Newman Rocks which is West of Balladonia, but not in the camp book. Lunch at Baxter Rest Area 115kms E of Balladonia. Maybe heading into rain (1.45pm)!!! Campfire/Oven not looking good at this stage !!! :( Managed to find and camp at Newman Rocks. 50kms W of Balladonia. No wildlife at the waterhole but there were some people camping closer which may have stopped them from coming down. Very little rain, didn't stop us from fossicking for wood and getting the fire going......I love this.....!!!!!

For some strange reason Maree always wants to lay down on Highways or Train Tracks - Very Strange!!!!
